      And finally, regarding the teacher's moodiness - yes, teachers are definitely human - there is no telling what could be going on in her life. Are you insecure? Naturally, it's always better to have the teacher like you but you haven't done anything to make her NOT like you, have you? No cutting up in class or giving her a hard time? You don't seem the type.... Just try to go with the flow.

      Oh yes, I know schools don't like this - but CLIFF NOTES absoultely got my behind through those boring literature classes. In 12th grade, at least, I did MODERN literature - and we read things like One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Ordinary People - books that are much better in my opinion. We had a great teacher, too, who brought in the One flew over movie and played it - expletives and all - and made the joke that she was glad the dean didn't walk by when that part played!

      Hello there! First of all - Listen VERY carefully. The girls that poke fun at the two color eyeshadows, et cetera are JEALOUS. From your picture, you are an absoultely breathtakingly beautiful (that's alliteration) young lady - I know I'd be jealous! Sometimes, it helps to say, "I think that would look nice on you - do you want to see how I do that?" or just say, "oh, you don't like it? What do you suggest?" but NOT in a condesending way. If they see that they don't feel threatened, they may stop that nonsense.
